Shakib Ahmadyar

Mr. Shakib Ahmadyar was born in 1987 in a religious family in Kabul. He started school at the age of seven and completed his primary education in 2007 at Mohammad Alam Faizad School—with excellent marks.

Mr. Ahmadyar received a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management in 2016 and a bachelor’s degree in international relations in 2020.

Mr. Ahmadyar has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Ahmadyar Group for nearly a decade. By using Ahmadyar Group as a platform, he has played an important role in improving numerous aspects of the economy in Afghanistan. In recent years, Mr. Ahmadyar has been a prominent business figure in Afghanistan.

He was elected to serve as a member of the board of directors of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI) and as a member of the board of directors of the Afghanistan International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). He is a strong advocate of businesses and entrepreneurs inside the country and abroad.

Mr. Ahmadyar is also a dedicated philanthropist. In addition to running his business, he supports many people in Afghanistan every year through Ahmadyar Charitable Foundation, providing education and medical services. He passionately contributes to poverty alleviation causes and assisting the poor people.
